Golden Delicious type. Ripens 6 weeks ahead of Golden Delicious. Can be picked green but will turn an attractive yellow with a blush if allowed to hang on the tree. Uniform fruit size. Keeps up to 6 months in storage. Vigorous tree habit. No limb spreading is necessary. Hardy to Zone 5. Found as a chance seedling in the orchards of Clyde and Ginger Harvey in Lovingston, Virginia. Has shown great promise in orchards at Sustainable Agriculture Station in Alcalde, NM.
