Malinda x Siberian Crabapple. Large cooking and dessert crabapple. Attractive, reddish bronze fruit. Crisp, juicy, sweet flesh with a pleasing nutlike flavor. Excellent fresh. Vigorous tree is upright but a little weeping. Large white blossoms with good shape and aroma; medium pollen producer. Fruit hangs well and ripens over a long period. Annual bearer. Cedar apple rust resistant. Hardy to –50 degrees F. Ripens early September in Truchas.
