40'-60', Zone 2. Pyramidal in youth, broad topped crown in maturity. Easily transplanted. Grows in dry, heavy or sandy soil, withstands alkaline conditions, moderately wet or very dry areas, tolerates wind and full sun. Good choice for a stand alone tree in difficult sites.
