15'-18', Zone 4-6. Small spreading tree. Deserves more attention for its beautiful, somewhat irregular branching pattern. Spreading habit, early bloom, deeply lobed foliage, and bright red colored fruits are also valuable assets. Good wildlife plant. Good resistance to cedar apple rust. Native to SE Russia.
