Malus 'Royalty'
15'-18'. Zone 3. Upright rounded with single dark red flower. Dark red fruit ¾". Good wildlife habitat plant. This hardy crab has outstanding foliage. New growth is reddish turning purplish with green undercast. Leaves have a bright varnished appearance and nice purple fall color. Introduced by Sutherland Experiment Station, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
