Talks and Worshop schedule for 2010

March 11, 2010 6 pm: ”Fruit Scouting in the Southwest” at Collected Works Bookstore in Santa Fe. Offered through the Santa Fe Botanic Garden.

March 27, 2010: Los Poblanos in Albuquerque. “Grafting, heirloom fruit trees and basic tree care”. We will have bareroot fruit trees available for sale there.

April 3, 2010: Grafting workshop at Tooley’s Trees in Truchas. 9am to 5 pm. $30 pay when you arrive. Includes 3 rootstocks. There will be an instructional session at 9 am and another at 1 pm. Come for a 1/2 day or stay all day and practice. Please RSVP by email

June 11-12, 2010: New Mexico Master Gardener’s Conference in Albuquerque. ” Making Fruit Trees Work in New Mexico”

WINTER NEWS

We are now closed for the winter but are still taking orders for bareroot fruit trees for Spring 2010.

We will reopen in March 2010, weather permitting, but definitely in April.

We still have many great bareroot peaches and apples-particularly cider varieties- available, as well as many other heirloom plums, cherries and pears.
